How to apply and renew
A separate registration is required for each alarm site. The ordinance says the initial fee must be submitted at least 15 days before installation or when an existing system is taken over. Registrations are not transferable to another person or alarm site.
Article 735 defines an alarm user broadly and says the rule applies whether or not an alarm is monitored under contract. Its alarm-system definition focuses on systems intended to summon law-enforcement response.
Annual renewal. Registrations end December 31 and must continue for the next year.
