How to apply and renew
Reading directs alarm users to its False Alarm Reduction Program. Use the city service-center link to reach the current program, register a new alarm and confirm that the fee remains $0.
Reading’s code requires alarm-user permits, and the city’s current false-alarm program says everyone operating an alarm system within the city must register. The reviewed sources do not limit the rule to monitored residential systems.
