How to apply and renew
The city lists a $50 annual residential alarm permit fee. Use its alarm registration information to obtain the application and current submission instructions.
Permits cannot be transferred to another person or address. Notify the Alarm Unit when you move so it can cancel the old permit. Report changes to application information within two business days.
Renewal notices are mailed 30 days before expiration. For help, call the Alarm Unit at 214-671-4120.
